Entering The Ordinary Season

Join us as we step into the longest season of the church calendar, the time when the Holy Spirit has now filled the church. It is also known as the Ordinary season, a time of stillness and intentionality. A time to recognize the fulfillment of God's promise of providing a Helper until we are with Him again. Now that we have been filled, how are you going to choose to respond to the Holy Spirit?

We look forward to seeing you all this week!

Confirmation Sunday Coming Up!

This Sunday we will be receiving and confirming new members of the congregation! The Lord who established His church on Pentecost is still working His purposes here, even through our community and church. We as a community will get the opportunity to participate in this celebration by laying hands and praying for those who have made this intentional step towards commitment. You will notice that it will be a bit more liturgically formal and we hope that this will a be a reminder of our need for God.

We look forward to seeing you all this week!

Day of Pentecost

This Sunday we will celebrate Pentecost, remembering when the Holy Spirit was poured out and the mission of the church began. But who is the Holy Spirit? How does the Holy Spirit empower us for mission and give us hope for the future? We hope you will join us this Sunday as we explore these questions and celebrate this truly remarkable day in the church calendar.

The Day of Pentecost Collect O God, who on this day taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit: Grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgment in all things, and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.

We look forward to seeing you all this week!

Ascension Day

Today marks 40 days after Easter taking us to when Christ ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God. Rev. Chris Myers is going to speak about the tension between living in hope as the people of God and the reality that even now He has defeated death.

Ascension Day Collect:
Almighty God, whose only-begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven: May our hearts and minds also there ascend, and with him continually dwell; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Chris Myer's Is Back!

Chris Myers is back, watch the video above to get a brief update on his leave! We're excited for him to be back with us on Sunday! Last week was wonderful with Carrie Heddington as we got to hear some great stories about Dave Larlee and the power of the Spirit. We also got to hear testimonies from several people to kick off the wreath of testimonies. Join us this Sunday to hear a wonderful word from Bill Hendricks.

We look forward to seeing you all this week.

A Wreath of Testimonies

Thank you all for your continued prayers for Chris Meyers, we got a message from him saying that he is doing really well over in the England. Last week was powerful with Dr. Sloan and what a gift it was to pray together! Come join us this Sunday to hear testimonies from that time of prayer and watch as the wreath gets filled with ribbons that represent the Lord's presence in prayer.

We hope you will continue with us throughout the month of May to hear from more guest speakers - Carrie Heddington, and Bill Hendricks.

Come Hear From Dr. Robert Sloan

Last week's baptisms were beautiful and showed us how powerful it is to "pencil in" the decision to bring up your child in the ways of the Bible. It was also an opportunity for us, as the body, to stand alongside with them as we commit to participate in providing a firm foundation to "ink in" on their own. Hunter Allen provided such an encouraging word last Sunday and we continue on with Dr. Robert Sloan, a Baylor Alumni, this Sunday!

We hope you will continue with us throughout the month of May to hear from more guest speakers - Carrie Heddington, and Bill Hendricks.

Baptism Sunday

This Sunday we will be hearing Hunter Allen speak about Jesus' resurrection through a very powerful passage and the encounter between Peter and Jesus after he denied Him. We are also excited to celebrate several baptisms together as a body!

We hope you will continue with us throughout the month of May to hear from more guest speakers - Dr. Robert Sloan, Carrie Heddington, and Bill Hendricks.
