Youth Ministry

6th - 12th grade

High School | 9th - 12th grade

We invite our high school students to help lead and mentor the Middle Schoolers on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall (Room 221) and volunteer on a serve team 1-2 times a month. Again, they will return to the service for Holy Communion.

Youth Sunday Worship

Middle School | 6th - 8th grade

The middle schoolers will be lead through their own lesson that goes along with the lectionary where leaders will focus on cultivating a safe space to ask questions. They will meet in the Fellowship Hall (Room 221) and will return to the service for Holy Communion.

Spring 2025 Youth Nights

Calling all youth! Join us for Youth Nights every other Wednesday from 7-8:30pm at LHC.  We’ll meet in the youth space for hangout time and then break into Youth Connect Groups. Groups will be broken up into age group and gender and will have consistent leaders each week to guide them through a short Bible Study and discussion. Feel free to bring a friend!

Spring 2025 Youth Confirmation

This class will be held from 10:45-11:45am in the conference room for youth students (6th-12th grade). The sacrament of confirmation is about the Lord stirring up the gifts we first received in Baptism and fortifying us with the Holy Spirit in order to live and share the Gospel. The Youth Confirmation class will present the essential building blocks of classic catechetical instruction: the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, and the Ten Commandments (the Decalogue).

East Dallas Community Service group

We want to be a community that serves our East Dallas neighbors!

We invite older children and youth to join this group if they are interested in helping people in the St. Bart's community with things like changing a light bulb, mowing the lawn, or organizing a pantry. We will also announce different local service project opportunities. This is a great way to get community service hours.

This group is also for the members of St. Bart's. If you find yourself needing a helping hand with things around the house or you work for a non-profit that could use more volunteers, this is a great place to send in those requests!

How it works: Start be downloading the churchcenter app. Once you register, you will automatically be added to the East Dallas Community Service "group." Requests and responses can be sent in the "chat" function.

Ways To Get Involved

If you are a student and would like to volunteer on Sunday mornings, please fill out this form! Once the form is completed, a staff member or volunteer leader will reach out to you or your parent to find a good time to get trained.

If you are an adult and would like to volunteer with the youth on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights, please fill out this form so that we can contact you! All of our volunteers complete a background check and training through Ministry Safe.
