Fourth Sunday of Epiphany - 01/29/23

Epiphany is the season that reminds us that the church is to take the glory of God to the world. Together we’ll look at how the Beatitudes—Jesus’ “Blessed are…” statements that open the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew’s gospel—reveal the loving character of God.

As we behold the face of God in the face of Christ, we are transformed into his image. This is what it means to be fully human—to become like Jesus, the truly human one, and to grow more and more in the freedom of the children of God.
